Canterbury Choughs Old Boys Cricket Club

Choughs OBCC is a friendly touring side endorsing the spirit of club cricket as a sociable team introducing players to cricket in other counties, touring the UK

The membership is by invitation only by the committee.

Choughs OBCC have a long established tradition, established in 1963 by the late Doug Brown (Hampshire CCC, Beverley CC) and thrives today as a touring group calling on local players from the old Choughs CC teams and other Canterbury (Kent, UK) players.

Touring for over 25 years the 'choughers' have set a precedence in standards and sportsmanship (see old boys)

Prostate UK sponsored run 2010
(Mrs Soc Sec)

Well – I did it and have the medal to prove it!  I completed the 10k in 1 hour 17 minutes but could have been a bit quicker if I hadn’t had to stop for a wee and another stop to put plasters on blisters......  picture from the race, not the most flattering ones I have to admit.  I couldn’t wear the gold pants whilst running as they kept falling down but I carried them round and put them on for the post race pictures J.

A massive THANK YOU for sponsoring me, in total I have raised £425 for Prostate UK which is brilliant.
