Tour 2006 - Wiltshire/Berkshire
June 24th - 25th 2006

Canterbury Choughs Old Boys return to...
Sat - Lambourn Sports CC, Lambourn, Berks
Sun - Great Bedwyn CC, Gt Bedwyn, Wilts

This years Tour was a special event for our Saturday opponents Lambourn Sports CC as they celebrate their 60th year as a sports club. Congratulations from all the 'old boys'

The club would also like to thank the Social Sec for his special spelling skills. It was appreciated so much we set up his own dedicated web site, see www.houghs.info (thanks mate)

Nigel Stevenson (sec) and Richard Baines (chairman) present Ray Bowsher (Cricket Chairman, Lambourn) on behalf of Choughs Old Boys CC an encapsulated sample of the Old Lime Tree (Kent County Cricket Club - more) celebrating 60 years
of sport at Lambourn Sports Club (letter from the sports club)

Sadly we say goodbye to our long standing landlord Andy at the Bear Hotel. Better known to us as 'The Guvnor' we wish Andy all the best for his future plans but Andy please remember Kent is still 'gods' county (not Yorkshire).

The King is dead, long live the King - we look forward to continuing our stay in Marlborough with Trevor, the new 'Guvnor'

This year the evening procedures where in the theme of a bad shirt, some of the players present either didn't join in the fun or they where duplicated in bad taste, those persons where duly face painted by the Lambourn ladies (thanks Allison Cripps and team).

Many thanks to Lambourn for another entertaining evening - Choughs Old Boys wish you all another 60 years of friendship and sportsmanship
